Step 1

Create a 7-Spek pentagon by forming a ring of 5 Speks and wrapping the chain around itself. 

Step 2

Create a 6-Spek pentagon. Interlock the sides of the pentagons and then nest the smaller one inside the larger one.  

Step 3

Repeat the previous step with a 5-Spek pentagon.

Step 4

Repeat steps 1-3 until you have a total of 12 nested pentagons. 

Step 5

Flip each pentagon over (so that the point is facing upwards) and gently remove the inner 3 rings of the top, inner 2 rings of the second layer, and inner ring of the last layer. 

Step 6

Align the edges of the pentagons so that they begin to form a sphere.
